Halma, also known as Ugolki or куточки уголки, is a strategic board game played offline. This version boasts significantly improved artificial intelligence (AI), with completely new AI engines implemented in 2020, 2021, and further enhancements in the latest update.
Originally conceived in 1883 or 1884 by Harvard Medical School's George Howard Monks, an American thoracic surgeon, Halma draws inspiration from the English game, Hoppity. Played on a checkered board, two players typically use black and white pieces, while four-player games utilize different colored pieces. The objective is to move all your pieces from your starting corner to the opposite corner. Players achieve this by moving a single piece to an adjacent empty square or by making a series of jumps over other pieces.
Key Features:
- Three adjustable AI difficulty levels.
- Completely free to play.
- Three visually appealing game board skins.
Latest Update (July 25, 2024): This update includes an SDK update.
