Hexanaut.io (or simply Hexanaut) is a thrilling .io game where you compete to claim the largest possible territory. Strategic maneuvering is key – avoid cutting your own lines and watch out for other players trying to do the same to you! Scattered across the map are powerful totems offering significant advantages. How much territory can you dominate?
Gameplay Instructions:
Use your mouse to navigate the map. Extend your territory by drawing lines, but remember: returning to your existing territory closes the loop, securing all enclosed hexagons. However, venturing outside your territory makes you vulnerable. Other players can intercept your line, forcing you to start again.
Your goal is to control 20% of the map to become a Hexanaut. Maintain this dominance for two minutes to achieve victory! A crucial note: elimination while another player is a Hexanaut means you're out of the game.
Strategic Totem Capture:
Five unique totems enhance your gameplay:

Spreading Totem: This totem directly expands your territory by emitting lasers that claim hexagons. Especially valuable in the early game.

Speed Totem: Provides a 5% speed boost. Accumulating multiple speed totems significantly improves your maneuverability.

Teleporting Gate: Enables instant travel across your territory, saving time and allowing for surprise attacks on opponents.

Slowing Totem: Creates a zone that severely slows down other players. Use this to your advantage by eliminating slowed opponents, but avoid enemy slowing totems.

Hexanaut employs a hybrid approach. While it's an .io game with online players, it also incorporates bots to ensure quick matchmaking and prevent lengthy waiting times. These bots behave realistically, providing a consistently engaging experience.
