Marvel's animated "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" series, chronicling Peter Parker's high school freshman year, has already secured renewals for both Season 2 and Season 3!
Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' head of streaming, television, and animation, revealed in an interview with The Movie Podcast that Season 2's scripts are complete, with storyboards half-finished, even before Season 1's premiere on January 29th. Season 3 is also officially greenlit.
Winderbaum expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I've fallen so head over heels in love with these characters...we're halfway through the animatics. What Jeff Trammell is building brick by brick in this show starts to pay off...and it just gets deeper and deeper in subsequent seasons." He mentioned upcoming meetings with Trammell to discuss Season 3's direction, though release dates for either Season 2 or 3 remain unannounced.
