Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.
Pre-Season Sneak Peek
Before the main event, get ready for the arrival of the Chatacabra on February 28th! This marks its debut before its official appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5 will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the Monster Hunter Now roster.
Weapon Enhancements
Expect significant balance adjustments to weapons, aiming for increased viability and enjoyment across all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, simplifying the targeting of breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward precise timing with amplified power and more satisfying combos.
The Guard skill is also receiving a much-needed upgrade. Previously, skill level had minimal impact, but now higher levels will noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further refinements will be detailed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Tired of a perpetually full inventory? Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 inventory slots.
Celebrating 1.5 Years of Monster Hunter Now
A brand-new feature arrives on March 17th, commemorating the game's 1.5-year anniversary! This feature allows trading of special materials obtained from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
