The new year in *Pokémon GO* is brimming with exciting new Pokémon additions! Following the arrival of Fidough, trainers can now add Shroodle to their collection. However, unlike many Pokémon, Shroodle isn't readily available as a wild spawn.
When Did Shroodle Arrive in Pokémon GO?
The Toxic Mouse Pokémon, Shroodle, made its Pokémon GO debut on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Shroodle is a relatively new addition to the Pokémon world. After the event concludes, Shroodle will remain available for capture.
Can Shroodle Be Shiny?
Unlike some recent Pokémon releases, Shroodle is not currently available in its Shiny form in Pokémon GO. Its Shiny variant will likely be introduced in a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-type Pokémon or Team GO Rocket.
How to Get Shroodle in Pokémon GO

Many new Pokémon aren't found in the wild, and Shroodle follows this trend. Instead of appearing on your Nearby radar, you'll need to hatch Shroodle from 12KM Eggs. Currently, this is the only way to obtain Shroodle in Pokémon GO.
12KM Eggs collected from 12 AM local time on January 15th onwards have a chance of hatching Shroodle. Its hatch rate is likely higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but it should remain part of the 12KM Egg pool afterward.
How to Get 12KM Eggs
Since Shroodle is exclusive to 12KM Eggs, a reminder on how to obtain these rarer eggs might be helpful. There's only one way to get them:
Defeat Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff) or Giovanni in battle. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event is an ideal time to stock up on 12KM Eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more prevalent, and Rocket Radars easier to acquire. However, you can battle GO Rocket Grunts at any time to challenge the Leaders and earn a 12KM Egg (provided you have inventory space).
How to Get Grafaiai in Pokémon GO

Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also debuted on January 15th. It doesn't hatch from Eggs or spawn in the wild; the only way to get it is by evolving a Shroodle.
Evolving requires 50 Shroodle Candy. Hatching multiple Shroodle or making one your buddy are the best ways to gather the necessary Candy.
*Pokémon GO* is available now.
