Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of CHASERS
CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash is an enthralling action RPG set in a dynamic 3D environment, where you engage in intense, fast-paced combat against enemies. You can choose from a variety of characters, officially termed "Chasers." Since the game eschews gacha mechanics, you unlock new Chasers as you progress through the game. The combat system is typical of modern ARPGs, with nuanced ability executions. During battles, you'll notice two bars at the bottom of the screen: the HP bar, indicating your current Health Points, and the Energy bar. If your HP drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and can no longer fight.
The Energy bar represents your current energy level, which is consumed when using abilities. This energy regenerates over time or can be replenished faster with Energy drones found in dungeons. Control your Chasers using the virtual movement wheel on mobile devices or, for a more precise experience, with keyboard and mouse controls on a PC via BlueStacks. A unique feature in CHASERS is the "Elphis" magic system, allowing Chasers to use all their abilities without expending Energy. This turbo mode lets you focus on executing damage combos to decimate foes. When the Elphis bar is full, it glows blue, indicating readiness for activation.
Each Chaser has unique active abilities with specific cooldowns, meaning they can't be reused until the cooldown period ends. The ultimate ability, the most potent in a Chaser's arsenal, recharges as your Chaser deals and receives damage. Once fully charged, the ability icon will glow.
Crafting your Team Formation in CHASERS
Strategy and squad formation play a crucial role in CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash. You can deploy up to three distinct Chasers in battle. You have the option to manually select your Chasers or let AI automatically fill the slots with the strongest available based on power level. A standout feature of the combat system is the ability to switch between Chasers seamlessly during battle. You can view all deployed Chasers on the right-hand side of the screen.
Leveling Up
Use accumulated Gold and experience materials of varying rarities to level up your Chasers. Each level increase directly boosts their base stats like Attack, Defense, and Health. Chasers can reach a specific level cap, beyond which they must be advanced to further increase the cap.
Skilling Up
Enhance your Chasers' active and passive abilities by using Rusty Bolt of Wave and Battle Data of different qualities. This process increases the damage multiplier of skills and shortens their cooldowns.
Breakthrough
To break through and enhance your Chasers' abilities, stats, or unlock new abilities, you'll need duplicate copies of the same Chaser, which can be purchased from the shop using premium currency. Each Chaser can undergo a breakthrough up to six times.
