Krafton's mobile version of Ironmace's popular dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, will initially debut in Canada. However, a global launch is planned for the first half of the year.
Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler mechanics. Players, solo or in parties, navigate a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to secure loot. Characters encompass a range of fantasy archetypes, including fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards.
Following the success of Ironmace's PC version, Krafton acquired the mobile adaptation rights. Significant improvements are underway, preparing the game for its global release.
Enhancements in the Works
Planned changes include revisions to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, along with dungeon structural overhauls to enhance party gameplay. Class distinctions will be sharpened through improved basic attacks and combat mechanics. A broader selection of weapons and skills is also anticipated.
