Rest and Recovery in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Sleeping is vital in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, providing full health restoration without relying on food or potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.
Securing a Bed
Early access to a bed is crucial. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, completing either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline grants you sleeping quarters. Radovan, located in the closer Tachov, is a convenient option. Finish his smithing tutorial to unlock a bed adjacent to the forge.
This bed will appear on your world map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Use it whenever you need to heal.
Campsite Slumber
When immediate access to your bed is impossible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world offer alternative resting spots. Some may be occupied by bandits – requiring a bit of pre-sleep combat – while others are unoccupied. These campsites are marked on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows for a less comfortable, but effective, rest.
Sleeping in NPCs' beds is a last resort; getting caught will likely lead to a confrontation with the guards.
