Farlight 84's "Hi, Buddy!" Expansion: Adorable Pets and Map Revamps!
The highly anticipated "Hi, Buddy!" expansion for Farlight 84 has arrived, introducing a host of exciting new features. The centerpiece is the Buddy System, adding cute and helpful companion pets to the battlefield.
Meet Your Buddies:
The expansion introduces ten new buddies: Common Buddies like Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy; and rarer Archon Buddies – the Time Dominator and Storm Empress. Archon Buddies boast powerful abilities; for instance, the Time Dominator can manipulate the Safe Zone, while the Storm Empress unleashes devastating tornadoes. Buddies are acquired using Buddy Orbs, found scattered across the map, which can also hold up to six tactical items.

Beyond the Buddy System, "Hi, Buddy!" brings significant updates:
- Sunder Realms Map Overhaul: The Sunder Realms map features revamped terrain, structures, and landmarks, including ramps, enhanced buildings, and unique additions like giant duck statues and floating boulders.
- Tactical Core System: A new progression system where players earn Trait points to upgrade hero skills and unlock new abilities. Trait Activation Cards are required to maximize these abilities.
- New Events: The Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event offer exciting rewards, including skins and loot boxes.
