How To Get Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Flare Knife is surprisingly accessible early in the game. Once you achieve Level 003 Code Clearance, head to Zakka in The Warren. Zakka's shop stocks a variety of weapons and items, including the Flare Knife, available for 3,000 Entitlement Points.
Equipping the Flare Knife is straightforward. Navigate to the Loadout menu within the Personal Responsibility Portal and select an available Combat Item slot. If you've purchased the Flare Knife, it will be listed and ready for deployment.
How To Use Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Flare Knife's design allows for severing Abductor parts, a crucial tactic in battle. This is particularly helpful for players who prefer Polearms or Heavy Melee weapons, providing an alternative to Light Melee weapons for limb severing. However, remember that the Flare Knife is a single-use item; you'll need to repurchase it before each Operation.
To use it, lock onto a severable Abductor part and use your Thorn to grapple onto it. With the Flare Knife equipped, a severing option will appear. This initiates a quick-time event (QTE) requiring rapid button mashing. Successfully depleting the QTE bar severs the limb.
