Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th, introducing Durandal's exciting new battlesuit and a host of fresh content.
New Battlesuit and Gear:
Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two dynamic forms: Rampager mode for intense javelin attacks, and Skyrider mode for high-speed hoverboard combat. Her ultimate unleashes a devastating aerial javelin strike. The update also introduces the Valorous Effulgence weapon (and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage), designed to enhance Reign Solaris's abilities with improved QTEs and additional javelins. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, reflects Durandal's parallel universe adventures, showcasing diverse activities like soccer, music, and skateboarding.

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, continues the Mars storyline, delving deeper into the Ten Shus War, Coralie's fate, and the mysterious eye in Helia's mind. A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal, offers substantial rewards including 60 million Crystals and Source Prisms.
The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event adds comedic flair with returning characters like Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, and the Herrscher of Sentience, alongside Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a unique boss fight involving Kiana dodging falling drumsticks and rhythmic counterattacks, along with follower command battles and monster training. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
