Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, this mobile adaptation promises the same terrifying experience.
Carrion Mobile: A Horror from Within
In Carrion, you embody a nightmarish creature – the source of the terror. As a mysterious, red, amorphous blob, you slither, claw, and devour everything in your path. This "reverse horror" mechanic shifts the perspective; you are the horror, not the victim.
Trapped within a high-security Relith Science research facility, you, The Monster, are the result of their genetic experiments. Having escaped containment, your mission is to wreak havoc and escape. Consume scientists, security personnel, and anyone who dares stand in your way. Navigate vents, smash through doors, and unleash your tentacles in a wave of destruction. The mobile version retains the visceral thrills of its PC counterpart. Progressing through the game unlocks upgrades, allowing you to breach barriers and grow in size.
