Zynga's Custom Street Racer 2 (CSR2) is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future with a time-traveling crossover event!
CSR2: A Trip Back to the Future
Starting now, players can get behind the wheel of the iconic DeLorean Time Machine from the original film. While it may not offer performance boosts or special abilities, the fully drivable car is a highlight of the event. Beyond the car, CSR2 offers a complete Back to the Future themed experience.
This includes a film-inspired in-game UI, a new storyline, and several themed events. Three flash events focused on the Time Machine will run alongside a community competition. Zynga has confirmed additional themed events throughout the year, extending the celebration beyond a single update. Currently, CSR2 is hosting social media quizzes with prizes; check their channels for details.

No 1955 Time Travel (Sadly!)
While the game doesn't offer time travel to 1955 (or 1999, for that matter), this CSR2 x Back to the Future collaboration is truly unique. The chance to drive the legendary DeLorean is exciting enough!
Zynga's VP of Games, Sam Cooper, emphasized the DeLorean's iconic status and the thrill of letting players virtually race this historically significant vehicle.
