The First Berserker: Khazan has recently unveiled an exciting new gameplay trailer during IGN Fan Fest on February 27, 2025, showcasing thrilling boss fights and hinting at an intriguing awakened form for the protagonist, Khazan. Dive in to discover more about these boss encounters and the speculated mechanics of Khazan's awakened state.
The First Berserker: Khazan’s New Trailer Highlights Different Boss Fights
New Gameplay Trailer Showcases Umbrella-Wielding Boss
South Korean developer Neople treated fans to an exciting glimpse of various boss fights in the new gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan. The trailer featured Khazan battling an umbrella-wielding boss, accompanied by brief cutscene snippets indicating its significance within the main storyline. Unfortunately, the HUD was obscured during this segment, leaving some details about the boss shrouded in mystery. Additionally, the trailer introduced two more formidable foes: Shactuka, a wolf-like beast, and the Specter of Bhangau, a ram-like creature wielding a hammer and spike.
Possible Awakened Form
The trailer tantalizingly hinted at an awakened form for Khazan, diverging from his usual samurai-like appearance. In this enhanced state, Khazan is enveloped in a striking red glow and donned in full body armor, enabling him to execute a variety of powerful attacks with different weapons. Despite Khazan's arsenal of combat options, this awakened form appears to boost his speed and attack potency significantly. The trailer demonstrated the game's combat mechanics, including blocking enemy projectiles, parrying, and executing fast-paced combos. Yet, it's evident that even in this enhanced state, Khazan's attacks chip away at boss health slowly, emphasizing the game's challenging Souls-like elements.
While Neople has yet to officially confirm details about this awakened form, the trailer suggests it will allow Khazan to unleash massive damage and create dynamic combos using an array of weapons.
Interested players can explore the first two missions through a free demo available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The full game is slated for release on March 27, 2025, across these platforms.
