Kingdom Come: Deliverance Stars

A chapter closed in the history of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. After years of lending their voices and souls to the acclaimed RPG, Tom McKay and Luke Dale concluded their journey at Warhorse Studios. Their farewell was a poignant moment—a blend of gratitude, nostalgia, and a palpable sense of closure.

Even as they recorded their final lines, however, the transition was already underway. While McKay and Dale said goodbye, Warhorse Studios simultaneously auditioned new actors to assume the roles of Henry and Hans. The irony was undeniable—a farewell for one generation marked the beginning of another.

McKay, the voice of Henry, reflected on the unique bond forged during the project:

“In the creative world, ‘family’ is often used loosely, but here it was genuinely true. The connections I made on this journey are some of the deepest and longest-lasting of my career.”

This sense of family resonated both personally and thematically within the game itself. Henry's tragic loss mirrored McKay's own experience with his father, imbuing certain scenes with profound emotional weight. For McKay, Kingdom Come: Deliverance transcended a mere project; it became a deeply personal and moving experience.
