Major Update Slated for 'Indiana Jones and the Great Circle'

by Natalie Feb 21,2025

Bethesda's upcoming Update 3 for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is slated for release next week, bringing a host of improvements and fixes. A recent tweet offered a preview, highlighting the addition of Nvidia DLSS 4, encompassing Multi-Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.

While complete patch notes are pending, the update is anticipated to address critical bugs plaguing the game since its December launch. Bethesda previously indicated February's update would enhance graphics and resolve issues hindering 100% game completion and traversal challenges (vine climbing and wall squeezing in Sukhothai). The extent to which these specific issues are addressed remains to be seen.

The title, available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass, has already attracted 4 million players since its debut. Critically acclaimed and a multiple award-winner (including three D.I.C.E. Awards), Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is also slated for a PlayStation 5 release this spring.

Harrison Ford, the iconic Indiana Jones himself, praised Troy Baker's performance, stating in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that Baker's portrayal proves "you don't need artificial intelligence to steal my soul." Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's work, emphasizing the actor's talent and the quality of his performance. He further commented that achieving a compelling portrayal doesn't require AI.
