At first glance, one might think Palworld is a typical open-world monster-catching game. However, this indie title goes beyond that by introducing various mechanics, ranging from realistic guns to building highly optimized farms. Some players might even be surprised to learn how Palworld allows you to farm crops.
Palworld features a variety of plantation buildings where you can plant seeds to grow different crops, such as Berries, tomatoes, Lettuce, and more. While these plantation buildings can be unlocked from the Technology tab by simply leveling up your character and spending Technology Points, finding seeds can be confusing. Fortunately, this guide explains how to obtain every type of seed in Palworld.
1How To Get Berry Seeds In Palworld
You can purchase Berry Seeds from Wandering Merchants in Palworld. There are many Wandering Merchants across the Palpagos Islands. Head to the following coordinates to find a Wandering Merchant selling Berry Seeds for 50 Gold:
- 433, -271: East of Marsh Island Church Ruins
- 71, -472: Small Settlement
- -188, -601: South of Small Cove fast travel point in Sea Breeze Archipelago
- -397, 18: East of Forgotten Island Church Ruins
Pals That Drop Berry Seeds
Alternatively, you can get Berry Seeds as a reward for capturing 
Lifmunk or 
Gumoss. Both Pals are guaranteed to drop Berry Seeds when defeated. Lifmunk and Gumoss are common Pals found on Marsh Island, Forgotten Island, and near Desolate Church and Fort Ruins.
After obtaining Berry Seeds, you can use them in Berry Plantations unlocked at level 5.
How To Get Wheat Seeds In Palworld
On reaching level 15, you can unlock Wheat Plantation, but to use it, you first have to find Wheat Seeds in Palworld. Wheat Seeds are sold by select Wandering Merchants. You can head to the following coordinates to find Merchant NPCs selling Wheat Seeds for 100 Gold:
- 71, -472: Small Settlement
- 433, -271: East of Marsh Island Church Ruins
- -188, -601: South of Small Cove fast travel point in Sea Breeze Archipelago
- -397, 18: East of Forgotten Island Church Ruins
Pals That Drop Wheat Seeds
If you don’t want to spend coins purchasing Wheat Seeds, you can hunt Flopie or Bristla. These Pals are guaranteed to drop Wheat Seeds when captured or killed. You may also obtain Wheat Seeds from Robinquill, Robinquill Terra, and, occasionally, Cinnamoth.
How To Get Tomato Seeds In Palworld
After reaching level 21, you can unlock the Tomato Plantation structure and start looking for Tomato Seeds. You can purchase Tomato Seeds for 200 Gold from Merchant Pals at these coordinates:
- 343, 362: Duneshelter in Desiccated Desert
- -471, -747: Fisherman's Point located south of Mount Obsidian
Pals That Drop Tomato Seeds
You can also get Tomato Seeds as a guaranteed drop from Wumpo Botan, a rare Pal found only on Wildlife Sanctuary No. 2 — and as an Alpha Pal on Eastern Wild Island. Alternatively, there is a 50% chance of obtaining Tomato Seeds from Dinossom Lux, 
Mossanda, Broncherry, and 
Vaelet.
How To Get Lettuce Seeds In Palworld
At level 25, you can unlock the Lettuce Plantation in Palworld. You can get Lettuce Seeds from the same Wandering Merchants selling Tomato Seeds for 200 Gold at these coordinates:
- 343, 362: Duneshelter in Desiccated Desert
- -471, -747: Fisherman's Point located south of Mount Obsidian
Pals That Drop Lettuce Seeds
Lettuce Seeds are also a guaranteed drop from defeating or capturing Wumpo Botan. Alternatively, you can hunt Broncherry Aqua and Bristla for a 50% chance of obtaining Lettuce Seeds, while 
Cinnamoth has a low drop rate.
How To Get Potato Seeds In Palworld
Potato Seeds are a new addition introduced in the Palworld Feybreak update. You can unlock Potato Plantation at Technology level 29. Currently, you have a 50% chance of getting Potato Seeds from the following Pals:
Flopie
Robinquill
Robinquill Terra
Broncherry
Broncherry Aqua- Ribbuny Botan
Flopie and Robinquill can be found quite early in the game. Both are common on Moonshore Island. To locate them, teleport to Mount Flopie Summit and head south to find numerous Flopies and Robinquills.
How To Get Carrot Seeds In Palworld
After reaching level 32, you can unlock the Potato Plantation to farm potatoes and create food items like French Fries, Mammorest Curry, and Galeclaw Nikujaga. The following Pals have a 50% chance of dropping Carrot Seeds:
Dinossom
Dinossom Lux
Bristla
Wumpo Botan- Prunelia
If you’re hunting for Carrot Seeds and haven’t reached the faraway islands, fight Bristla on Moonshore Island or Dinossom in Windswept Hills. Players who have made it to Feybreak Island can farm Prunelia, commonly found across the red hills.
2How To Get Onion Seeds In Palworld
At level 36, you can unlock the Onion Plantation in Palworld and start farming onions, which are essential for Pal Research and cooking various food items. Onion Seeds are especially useful, as certain upgrades in the Pal Labor Research Laboratory require 100–300 onions. To obtain Onion Seeds, defeat these Pals:
- Cinnamoth
- Vaelet
- Mossanda
Since Vaelet is a rare Pal found only on Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1 and as an Alpha Pal boss, it’s easier to find Cinnamoths on Moonshore Island or Mossandas in Verdant Brook.
Most of the mentioned Pals are Grass types and weak to Fire attacks. For this reason, Katress Ignis and 
Blazehowl are the best Pals to use while fighting them. Their Partner Skills cause Grass Pals to drop more items when fought alongside them.
Blazehowl is a common Pal found on the east side of Mount Obsidian. As for Katress Ignis, you can breed 
Katress with 
Wixen to hatch a Katress Ignis.
