Path of Exile 2: Uncovering the Hidden Golden Idols
Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. This guide focuses on the five Golden Idols hidden throughout Act 3, which, despite being labeled "Quest Items," don't function like typical quest items. Collecting them doesn't add a quest to your log; instead, they're valuable sellable items.
Locating the Golden Idols
After completing the Ziggurat Encampment and traversing the portal to Utzaal (The Drowned City), explore this ancient Vaal city and the connected area of Aggorat. The Golden Idols are found within these locations, not as random enemy drops, but placed within the environment, often in side rooms.

Selling Your Treasures
Once you've collected a Golden Idol, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and locate Oswald in the northern part of the area. He's the only vendor who will purchase these unique items.
Golden Idol Values:
- Golden Idol: 500 Gold
- Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
- Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
- Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
- Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold
Collecting all five Idols yields a total of 6000 Gold. Given their limited inventory space and sole purpose as high-value trade goods, it's recommended to sell them immediately after discovery to conserve inventory space. Remember to use a portal to quickly return to the Ziggurat Encampment.
