PlayStation State of Play Announced for Tomorrow, February 12

by Michael Feb 23,2025

Sony's PlayStation State of Play is set for tomorrow, February 12th, at 2 PM Pacific / 5 PM Eastern / 10 PM UK. This over 40-minute broadcast, available in English and Japanese on PlayStation's YouTube and Twitch channels, promises a diverse lineup of games from global studios.

While specifics remain under wraps, anticipation is high for updates on several highly anticipated titles. The PlayStation Blog hints at "a creative and unique selection of exciting games," fueling speculation about potential reveals. Many fans eagerly await further details on Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, a release date for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and an official trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater following its recent PlayStation Store leak.

While reveals for Insomniac's Wolverine or Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet might be premature, other promising titles are likely candidates for updates. This includes Phantom: Blade Zero, an action RPG from S-Game; Bungie's Marathon; and Haven's Fairgames, both intriguing multiplayer shooters generating considerable buzz following Sony's involvement in the Concord situation.

With March marking the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, a celebratory announcement isn't entirely out of the question. The possibility of new game reveals and surprises, including persistent rumors of Halo potentially arriving on PlayStation, adds to the excitement.
