Pokémon Go's Holiday Event Part Two: Double the Fun!
Get ready for even more festive fun in Pokémon Go! Niantic's Holiday Event Part Two runs from December 22nd to 27th, bringing extra bonuses, exciting Pokémon encounters, and rewarding challenges. Part one kicks off on December 17th, but we already have a sneak peek at the second half's delights.
Holiday Part Two boasts double XP for catching Pokémon and a 50% XP boost for Raid Battles. Make the most of these increased rewards! The event also marks the debut of holiday-themed Dedenne, Wooloo, and Dubwool – with a chance to snag a shiny variant!
From December 25th to January 5th, Daily Adventure Incense will last twice as long, maximizing your Pokémon catching opportunities. Explore the wild and encounter Alolan Rattata, Murkrow, Blitzle, Tynamo, Absol, and more.
Raids will feature Litwick and Cetoddle in one-star battles, Snorlax and Banette in three-star battles, and Giratina in five-star raids. Mega Latios and Abomasnow will also appear in Mega Raids.
For those who prefer quests, Field Research Tasks offer encounters with event-themed Pokémon. A paid Timed Research ($5) provides a Glacial Lure Module, two Incense, a Wooloo Jacket, and more encounters. Complete Collection Challenges focused on catching and raiding to earn Stardust, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls.
