Pokémon TCG Pocket’s highly anticipated trading feature has finally arrived, launching alongside the exciting new Space-Time Smackdown expansion! This update brings a much-requested feature to the game, allowing players to trade cards with friends, mirroring the real-life experience. While there are some limitations—only certain rarities (1-4 and 1-star) are tradeable, and resources like trade hourglasses and tokens are required—it's still a significant addition to the gameplay.
The Space-Time Smackdown expansion introduces iconic Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, alongside the beloved Sinnoh region starters: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. Many more exciting additions are included!

However, the trading feature’s reception has been somewhat mixed. While the implementation is solid, the numerous restrictions, including resource requirements and rarity limitations, have drawn criticism. Some players feel the game would have benefited from either omitting the trading feature entirely or implementing it without such constraints.
