Roguelike Rhythm Game Debuts on Android with "Crypt of the NecroDancer"

Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure offers a unique mobile gaming experience. Originally launched on PC in 2015, and previously on iOS and Android, this Crunchyroll release boasts enhanced content.

What's Crypt of the NecroDancer All About?

Players step into the shoes of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically challenging crypt. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is unique.

Featuring 15 playable characters, each with distinctive styles, players must move and attack in time with Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack. Procedurally generated dungeons present a constant challenge, with enemies ranging from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons. Missing a beat means game over!

More Than Just a Port

This mobile version includes remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Further, Hatsune Miku DLC and the Synchrony expansion are planned for later this year.

Available now on the Google Play Store for Crunchyroll subscribers. Check it out and stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
