Stellar Blade, Shift Up's first non-gacha title in the US, boasts impressive reviews, praised for its challenging Soulslike combat, stunning visuals, captivating soundtrack, and distinctive character designs.
IGN's Mitchell Saltzman, in his review, highlighted Stellar Blade's gorgeous visuals and well-crafted action, while noting some weaknesses in the story, characters, and RPG elements. Despite these shortcomings, the solid Sekiro-inspired combat, formidable enemies, and rewarding exploration more than compensate.
