Marvel Rivals, the exhilarating 6v6 hero shooter, offers smooth matchmaking but shines even brighter when played with friends. This guide details how to add friends and team up for epic battles.
Important Note: Currently, Marvel Rivals lacks cross-progression and cross-play. You can only add friends on the same platform. However, the developers have confirmed that this feature is in the works!
Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals

Locate the Friend Icon: Upon launching the game, find the friend icon (usually a person silhouette or similar) located in the upper corner of the screen, near your player profile.

Recent Players: Clicking the icon displays a list of recently played players. Select a player to send a friend request.

Username Search: Alternatively, use the search bar to enter a player's username. Press Enter and send a friend request from the search results.

Acceptance: Once your friend accepts the request, they'll appear in your friends list.
Playing With Friends

Access Friends List: Click the friends list icon (same location as before).

Select and Invite: Locate your desired friend, select their username, and send an invitation to join your game.

Queue and Play: You'll then be able to queue together for quick play or competitive matches.
Console Players: Friends added on your console's system-level friends list should automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.
