Unova Tour: New Pokémon Go Details Revealed

by Madison Apr 01,2025

The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is on the horizon, bringing with it an array of exciting updates. From new music inspired by the beloved Pokémon Black and White series to exclusive Special Research and fresh avatar items, there's much to anticipate as you dive into the world of Unova's Pokémon and battles.

A highlight of the event is the world premiere of new music inspired by Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2. Composed by the renowned Junichi Masuda, this captivating soundtrack will accompany you as you navigate the map, engage in thrilling raids, and capture Pokémon, enriching your gaming experience with its nostalgic and energetic vibes.

During the event, players will face a pivotal choice between Reshiram and Zekrom through a new Special Research story titled "It's Not Over Yet." Your decision will determine whether you receive the Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom) event badge, each offering unique rewards and bonuses tailored to your choice.

For those tackling five-star raids, defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem will lead to encounters with Kyurem, all of which will know the powerful Charged Attack Glaciate. Attendees of the in-person events in New Taipei City or Los Angeles will find every Kyurem they encounter equipped with this attack, without needing to choose a badge.

The Go Tour 2025 Tee is available as the first reward in the free Tour Pass, while upgrading to the Tour Pass Deluxe unlocks the exclusive Kyurem Helmet. Keep an eye on the shop for the Black Kyurem Wings and White Kyurem Backpack, and don't miss the Shiny Meloetta Tee, which you can obtain through the new Masterwork Research.

Enhance your event experience further with the Road to Unova event add-ons. The Raids add-on provides raid bonuses and the stylish Black and White Joggers, while the Hatch add-on offers Egg bonuses, unique Pokémon encounters, and the cozy Black and White Hoodie. Both add-ons come with Timed Research that includes extra rewards to boost your gameplay.
