Warframe: 1999's March Update: Techrot Encore Brings Boy Band Bosses and More!
Get ready for a blast from the past (and the future!) as Warframe: 1999 receives a major update this March. Digital Extremes' devstreams have revealed "Techrot Encore," introducing the 60th Warframe, Temple, alongside four new Protoframes, and a whole lot more! Prepare to face some familiar foes in a new way.
Techrot Encore introduces the Technocyte Coda, a new Lich adversary – the boy band On-Lyne, previously featured in the game's ARG. These once-harmless pop stars have undergone a significant transformation, trading their microphones for weapons.
Fortunately, players will receive an arsenal of new tools to combat this threat. Four new Scaldra weapons offer diverse combat options, while updates to the Romance & Relationships system await for players seeking in-game romance. A new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin and the previously mentioned Protoframes and Warframe round out the additions.
