How to Watch Daredevil: Born Again – Where to Stream and Episode Release Schedule

by Christian Mar 15,2025

The mid-2010s saw the critically acclaimed debut of *Daredevil*, a Netflix series that captivated audiences with its gritty portrayal of Hell's Kitchen. Its cancellation in 2018 shocked many. While Charlie Cox's Daredevil made brief appearances in later MCU projects like *She-Hulk* and *Spider-Man: No Way Home*, a solo series revival was unexpected. Yet, Daredevil is back, and while streaming on the more family-friendly Disney+, Marvel promises a return to the show's darker, action-packed roots.

Looking to stream *Daredevil: Born Again* or need the episode release schedule? Look no further.

What Is Daredevil: Born Again About?

Daredevil: Born Again serves as a sequel to the 2015 Daredevil series, carrying over most characters and plot threads. Its exact placement within the MCU timeline remains somewhat ambiguous. Following his solo series, Charlie Cox's Daredevil played a key role in The Defenders, with smaller appearances in She-Hulk and Spider-Man: No Way Home. His primary antagonist, Wilson Fisk, appeared in the Disney+ series Echo.

While inspired by Frank Miller's Born Again comic arc, the show isn't a direct adaptation. Marvel's official synopsis describes the story:

Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice through his law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues political ambitions in New York. Their pasts collide, setting them on a collision course.

Will There Be a Season 2?

Initially planned as a 19-episode season, Daredevil: Born Again is now split into two nine-episode seasons. Season one comprises the first nine episodes. Season two, featuring the remaining nine episodes of the original arc, is currently without a confirmed release date.

What About the Rest of 'The Defenders'?

Daredevil was part of The Defenders, a miniseries that followed Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. With Daredevil's return, the possibility of other Defenders' comebacks is being explored, according to Marvel's head of streaming, television, and animation.
