World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character select screens with collectible campsites! Four new campsites are available at launch, with more planned for future updates.
This new personalization feature expands on the Warbands system from The War Within. Players can now select from multiple campsites, each with a unique name and unlockable background. The campsites are managed and previewed within the Collections pane.

The Ohn’ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked upon logging in after Patch 11.1. The Cultists’ Quay is earned through the Season 2 Delver’s Journey. Freywold Spring and the Gallagio Grand Gallery require completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements, respectively.
The Collections pane now includes a dedicated tab for campsites, providing easy access to previews and unlocks. A new tab on the character select screen allows players to choose their preferred campsite or randomize their selection.
Blizzard plans to continue expanding this feature, adding new campsites in future content updates, potentially including older zones, holiday events, the Trading Post, and even the in-game shop. Expect to collect campsites alongside mounts, pets, and other collectibles!
