Use Clapperboard to record and verify video authenticity via blockchain. This app lets you record video using any camera (CCTV, webcam, action cam, drone, etc.) and prove its authenticity and origin.
First, create a Clapperboard account and add funds.
To create an authentic video:
- Add a comment to your video.
- Request a QR code.
- Display the QR code on camera during recording.
The generated QR code and your comment are permanently stored on the NEM blockchain. You'll then receive the recorded video.
To verify the video's integrity (confirming it's unmodified and created after QR code generation), upload the QR code segment of the video to http://product.prover.io/. A Certificate of Authenticity with video details will be issued upon successful verification.
