The digital world's protective shield against cyber threats has been compromised, but there's a fun way to learn how to reinforce it! Enter Spoofy, an engaging educational game designed to introduce children to the world of cyber security. This game not only teaches kids essential cyber security vocabulary but also guides them through identifying and navigating online dangers effectively. As players, children become everyday cyber heroes, embarking on missions to rescue their friends trapped in cyber puzzles.
Spoofy explores cyber security phenomena across four relatable settings in a child's life:
- Home: Delves into hardware and software security skills, making it a perfect place to learn about protecting personal devices.
- School: Focuses on the internet code of conduct, teaching kids the dos and don'ts of online behavior.
- Granny's House: Encourages critical thinking about whom to trust online, reinforcing the importance of safe interactions.
- City: Provides insights into protecting personal and others' privacy, vital in today's interconnected urban environments.
This innovative game has been developed in collaboration with leading organizations such as CGI, Traficom's Cyber Security Center, State Development Company Vake, Nordea, the National Board of Education, and the cities of Espoo, Turku, and Jyväskylä. Their collective expertise ensures that Spoofy delivers both fun and educational value to its young audience.
