Description

This popular card game involves three players using a 24-card deck. Gameplay is governed by the following rules:

Scoring and Penalties:

  • Achieving 880 points earns a player a "barrel."
  • Three unsuccessful barrel attempts reset a player's score to zero.
  • Failure to score in a round results in a "bolt."
  • Accumulating three bolts incurs a 120-point penalty.
  • Forfeiting the game results in a penalty equal to a barrel, with each remaining player receiving half that amount.

Game Settings:

  • Winning requires exceeding 1000 points.
  • Scoring 555 or -555 points resets the score to zero.
  • Players can attempt a barrel on their turn without bidding from opponents.
  • Card redistribution occurs if the talon or hand falls below a specified point threshold.
  • "Ace marriage," "golden round," and simultaneous barrel play are supported features.

Barrel Gameplay ("Own Turn"):

A player with 880 points can attempt a barrel on their "own turn." "Own turn" signifies the right of first bid. In this scenario, the player wins the bid and receives the talon regardless of opponents' hand strength. Unsuccessful barrel attempts on an "own turn" result in a 120-point penalty and count towards the three-attempt limit. If a player attempts a barrel without "own turn," the round proceeds normally, but no points are awarded (and it doesn't count as an unsuccessful attempt). Multiple players can simultaneously possess 880 points and the right to attempt a barrel; turn order determines who plays.

### Version 1.3.5 Update (Jul 29, 2024)
