Gameplay Overview
Each game accommodates 7 to 15 players, randomly assigned to one of several alignments: Town (the good guys), Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. Town members must identify and eliminate the villains before they're all killed. The challenge? You won't know who to trust!
Evil roles, like Serial Killers, secretly murder Town members under the cover of night, aiming to stay undetected.
Diverse Roles and Strategic Depth
Town of Salem boasts 33 unique roles, ensuring a fresh and unpredictable experience every time you play. Before a game begins, the host selects the roles included, and players are randomly assigned one. Each role has unique abilities and affiliations, detailed on your in-game role card. Game Phases: A Cycle of Suspicion and Revelation
The game unfolds in distinct phases:
- Night: Most roles utilize their abilities during the night phase. Serial Killers strike, Doctors provide protection, and Sheriffs investigate suspicious players.
- Day: Town members openly discuss their suspicions, debating the guilt or innocence of potential villains. A majority vote sends a player to trial.
- Defense: The accused presents their case, attempting to persuade the Town of their innocence.
- Judgement: The Town votes on the defendant's fate (guilty, innocent, or abstain). A guilty verdict results in execution!
