Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Confirmed for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th launch, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game, Botany Manor, have been delayed, but now have a confirmed release date: January 28th, 2025.
Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 release. Its relaxing gameplay, focusing on cultivating magical plants in the English countryside, earned widespread praise, achieving a strong "83/100" average score on OpenCritic with a 92% recommendation rate.
The delay, announced shortly before the original December release, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. While a new release date was promised for 2025, the official January 28th announcement finally confirms its arrival.
Although the release date is set, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders and wishlisting aren't currently available. The game is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be offered.
Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup
With its arrival on PlayStation, Botany Manor will complete its initial cross-platform rollout. The game's charming aesthetic and clever puzzles are poised to significantly enhance the PlayStation's already impressive collection of puzzle games. Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project following the completion of Botany Manor's porting process.
Joining Botany Manor on the PlayStation Store on January 28th are Cuisineer (roguelite), Eternal Strands (action RPG), and The Son of Madness (tactical stealth game).
