The cube moves above a large square with evenly sized edges. At the start, the floating cube matches the size of the square exactly.

That's right, you need to tap the screen when the cube is passing over the square and perfectly aligns with its position in space.
If you don't align the cube precisely, any excess edge will hang outside the square's boundaries.
It will break off and fall into the abyss! Don't let this happen!
As the game progresses, the square's area will decrease, making it tougher for you to react in time.
