How to Play 101 Okey Vip Offline:
101 Okey Vip is a multi-round game played with four players. The objective is to finish the game with the least amount of points possible. The player with the lowest points at the end of all rounds emerges as the winner. Points are calculated based on the numbers on the remaining tiles; for example, a red 3 equates to three points, and a black 11 equates to 11 points. The game concludes either when there are no more tiles left to draw from the deck or when a player completes their hand.
Getting Started with the Game:
To begin, a dealer is chosen who then distributes 21 stones to each player and 22 stones to the player on their right. The remaining stones are placed face down on the table, with one stone turned face up to determine the joker (OKEY piece). The game progresses counterclockwise, starting with the player on the dealer's right, who has 22 stones and begins by discarding a tile without drawing one. Each subsequent player can either draw a tile from the deck or pick up the last tile discarded by the previous player. If a player's total score in their hand reaches 101, they can open their hand by arranging their sets on the table. If unable to open, the player must discard a tile to end their turn. Every player must conclude their turn by discarding a tile, even if they've opened their entire hand.
Joker (Okey Stone or Riziko):
The joker, or okey stone, varies with each game. Two joker tiles, known as fake jokers, represent the number one higher than the face-up tile. Jokers have a distinct appearance compared to other tiles. For instance, if the indicator tile is a blue 5, the real jokers are the two blue 6s in play, while the fake jokers are valued as blue 6.
Deals and Showing Hands:
To open a hand, you need at least 101 points, achieved by arranging 3 or 4 sets of different colors with the same numbers (e.g., black 5, red 5, and blue 5) or a sequential set of the same color (e.g., red 7, 8, 9). Sets must contain at least three tiles. Once you reach 101 points, you can open your hand and add tiles to existing sets. If you pick up a discarded tile, you must use it immediately. If you haven't opened your hand yet, you must do so upon picking up this tile, and it must be incorporated into one of your sets. If the tile can't be used, it must be returned, and you draw another from the deck. No penalty points are assessed for this action.
Doubles:
An alternative way to open your hand is by collecting at least five pairs of tiles. A pair consists of two identical tiles. If you open your hand using doubles, you cannot open a normal set during the same game. However, you can still add tiles to sets opened by other players on the table.
