Want to avoid walking straight into a rainstorm? Check our rain radar and rain graph before you head out, ensuring you stay dry and prepared for your journey!
The Buienradar app offers a comprehensive 3-hour or 24-hour rain radar forecast to help you plan your day. The rain radar image displays upcoming precipitation, allowing you to see if rain is expected in the next few hours or the following day. Just below the radar, you'll find the rain graph, which provides detailed information on the timing and intensity of the rainfall, measured in millimeters. For a closer look at your specific area, simply tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom in.
Available for both Android phones and tablets, the Buienradar app features a handy widget that includes the rain graph, making it easy to check for rain without even opening the app. Additionally, the Buienradar Wear OS app is back, offering access to the rain radar, rain graph, and hourly forecasts directly from your wrist. Keep an eye out for more features to be added in the coming months. Please note that the Buienradar Watch App is exclusively available on the Google Play Store and supports devices running Android Wear OS.

These forecasts include temperature, feeling temperature, rainfall per hour, rain chance, and wind force in Beaufort.
Beyond basic weather maps, we also provide detailed data on wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, and humidity. Additionally, you can find exact sunrise and sunset times for your location.
Seasonal radar maps are also available. In summer, our pollen and mosquito radars can alert you to hang up your mosquito net, while in winter, our snow radar and ground temperature map can warn you about upcoming snow and night frost.
For longer-term planning, the "14-daagse" tab offers a 14-day weather forecast in graph form. You can also access a detailed list view by selecting the "Lijst" tab, which provides hourly forecasts for the next 7 days and daily averages for the second week.
Stay ahead of the weather with the "Meldingen" tab, where you can set up custom rain alerts (free push notifications) tailored to your daily schedule and preferred locations, ensuring you're never caught off guard by rain or storms.
For an ad-free experience, consider upgrading to Buienradar Premium for €4.99, which you can easily find under "Instellingen" ("Settings") and then "Neem Buienradar Premium" (Get Buienradar Premium).
