Dive into the classic world of Tri Peaks solitaire, a timeless card game also known as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks. This engaging game uses a standard deck of cards, challenging you to clear three peaks formed by strategically placed cards.
The game kicks off with eighteen cards laid out face-down, constructing three pyramids, each with three tiers. These pyramids are then topped with ten face-up cards. The rest of the deck, twenty-four cards in total, serves as your stock. The first card of the stock is placed in the waste pile, setting the stage for your gameplay.
To progress, you move cards from the tableau to the waste pile, but there's a catch: the card you move must be either one rank higher or one rank lower than the top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. This can create a dynamic sequence like 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, allowing you to clear cards and reveal face-down cards beneath them as you go.
