Learn to read Spanish and learn to write the alphabet.
Reading is a fundamental skill, crucial for preschool and early elementary education. It forms the basis for future academic success and overall adult life. Children are naturally drawn to computers and tablets; we can leverage this to reinforce and enhance their classroom learning.
METHODLearn to read Spanish, a phonics-based method, is designed for children aged 3-7, and even adults, to improve pronunciation. It's structured with a letter-tracing section and 30 lessons, beginning with vowels and progressing through consonants (L, M, S, T, P, N, D, F, H, C, Q, CH, G, GUE, R, -rr- - R, B, V, G, J, GE, GUE, Y, Z, CE, LL, X, K). Each lesson includes 11 games, each offered at two difficulty levels. This is ideal for parents and teachers seeking engaging ways to practice initial syllables and words in Spanish. Encourage children to participate; complete comprehension isn't necessary at this stage. Learning to read is a gradual process, potentially taking over a year. We recommend short, daily practice sessions, periodic review of past material, and adapting exercises to the child's level. Maintaining a playful approach is key.
LEVELSAll games feature two difficulty levels, adjustable at any time. Children progress at their own pace; sessions can be paused and resumed. Completed games reward children with virtual fruits. The first level is suitable for three-year-olds, sometimes even younger with parental assistance, often solvable with hints. The second level presents more complex challenges. Encourage independent problem-solving, but always remember to prioritize fun and engagement. Parents and guardians should adjust the difficulty to suit the child's abilities, avoiding undue pressure to advance.
