Rainbow Six Siege X: Atlanta Reveals

As Rainbow Six Siege celebrates its tenth anniversary, Ubisoft unveiled Siege X during today's presentation, marking a new chapter akin to the transformation from CS:GO to CS2. Set to launch on June 10, Siege X will transition the game to a free-to-play model, opening its doors to all players eager to dive into the tactical action.

Key Changes in Siege X:

New Mode: Dual Front – Experience the thrill of a 6v6 match format where the lines between attack and defense blur. In Dual Front, teams aim to capture enemy zones and deploy sabotage devices across a map divided into multiple areas: three zones per team and one expansive neutral zone. With a 30-second respawn timer, the action never stops, pushing players to strategize and adapt swiftly.

Advanced Rappel System – Siege X introduces a groundbreaking rappel system, allowing players to maneuver using ropes not just vertically but also horizontally, adding a new layer of tactical depth to your gameplay.

Increased Environmental Destruction – The game's environment becomes even more interactive with new destructible elements like fire extinguishers and gas pipes that can be detonated, offering players more ways to outsmart their opponents.

Reworks for Five Popular Maps – Get ready for major updates to five beloved maps, refreshing the battlegrounds and enhancing the strategic possibilities.

Graphical & Audio Enhancements – Ubisoft is set to deliver a stunning visual and audio overhaul, making Siege X not only a tactical challenge but also a feast for the senses.

Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures – The developers are committed to creating a fairer and more enjoyable environment, with significant improvements to the anti-cheat system and measures to curb toxic behavior within the community.

Ubisoft has also announced a closed beta for Siege X, which will be accessible over the next seven days to players who engage with Siege streams, giving them a first taste of what's to come.
