AFK Journey is a free-to-play RPG with regular seasonal content updates. New seasons introduce fresh maps, storylines, and heroes. Here's the release date for the upcoming AFK Journey season, "Chains of Eternity."
Chains of Eternity Season Release Date
The global version of AFK Journey will launch the Chains of Eternity season on January 17th.
Other regions and versions will receive the update provided their server is at least 35 days old and players meet these requirements:
- Reach Resonance level 240.
- Complete all pre-season AFK stages.
Meeting these conditions and having a server older than 35 days ensures access to the new season on the official release date.
Chains of Eternity: New Content
Chains of Eternity brings a new map, story content, heroes, and bosses to AFK Journey, including:
- Lorsan (Wilder)
- Elijah and Lailah (Celestial)
- Illucia (Dream Realm boss)
This season also introduces significant gameplay changes: a daily AFK progress cap, Paragon level adjustments, and Exclusive Equipment enhancements. Paragon levels will have a more substantial impact, and upgrading Exclusive Equipment from +15 to +20 will provide a significant boost. This means investing in Supreme+ units will yield greater rewards, though the investment cost increases considerably beyond +15.
