The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event offers numerous rewards, but acquiring them isn't straightforward. One particularly tricky challenge involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a solution.
Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher, then repairing a broken object. The difficulty lies in locating a broken item. Instead of searching, create a broken object yourself.
The easiest method avoids complex character traits. Repeatedly using a cheap item will eventually break it. The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive option; using it approximately a dozen times will cause it to malfunction. This can be done by your Sim or invited guests.
Repairing the broken object is simple once your Handiness skill reaches level 2. Simply select the "Repair" option on the broken item. After a short time, the repair is complete, fulfilling the Blast from the Past challenge.
