Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Approaches with New Data on Hero Popularity and Win Rates

NetEase has released comprehensive statistics on Marvel Rivals hero selection and win rates across all game modes, offering valuable insights into player preferences and character effectiveness. The data covers the game's initial month, providing a snapshot before the significant changes introduced in Season 1.

Jeff the Land Shark emerges as the undisputed Quickplay champion, boasting the highest pick rate across both PC and console platforms. However, the highest win rate belongs to Mantis, a Strategist character achieving over 50% win rates in both Quickplay and Competitive modes (56% and 55% respectively). Other top performers include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

The "Hero Hot List" also highlights platform-specific favorites: Cloak & Dagger reigns supreme in console competitive matches, while Luna Snow dominates the PC competitive scene.

  • Cloak & Dagger: Competitive (Console)
  • Luna Snow: Competitive (PC)

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, suffers from a remarkably low pick rate (1.66% in Quickplay, 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to player feedback regarding her underwhelming damage and gameplay experience. However, NetEase has announced substantial buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her standing considerably.

The upcoming Season 1, launching January 10th, introduces the Fantastic Four – Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman initially, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing later in the season – promising to significantly reshape the meta and likely impact these statistics. The release of this new data provides a fascinating look at the current state of the game before this major update.
