Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! The February Community Day event details are here, featuring Karrablast and Shelmet! Mark your calendars for February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Featured Pokémon:
Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of encountering them – and maybe even their Shiny variants!
Evolutionary Advantages:
The real excitement lies in their evolutions. Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle scenarios).
Special Research and Timed Research:
Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows the main event, unlocking further encounters with these Pokémon and their unique backgrounds.
