Sony Pictures has exciting news for anime fans: Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is set to hit US theaters on October 29, 2025. The announcement came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed acquiring worldwide theatrical rights (excluding Japan) for this eagerly awaited film. This fall, US audiences can look forward to the cinematic experience, while over 80 other countries will see the movie released on September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release on September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This unique bond grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, with the entire voice cast from the anime series returning to reprise their roles.
