This guide details the "The Last Knight" side quest in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves region. This quest, while less grand than the main storyline, offers a unique perspective on life outside Ragunna City and rewarding prizes.

The Last Knight is unlocked after completing Chapter 2 of the main storyline ("What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing"). It's recommended to finish the main questline before exploring Rinascita extensively, as many side quests are locked until Chapter 2, Act 3.
Starting the Quest
Locate Cosimo in Egla Town, Whisperwind Haven. He's near the first house by the main road, marked by a blue quest marker.
The Night Reveries
This involves a performance commemorating a legendary knight. Defeat the Mad Knight, who appears nightly (18:00 to 06:00) near the town's central pool. This enemy is not particularly challenging.
Mimic Chests
After defeating the Mad Knight, travel to the tallest tower and fly to Carlow's location (quest marker). He's unconscious near a purple flower. Touching the flower transports you to an area with chests; only one is genuine. The correct chest is the second one in the middle-left. Defeat the mimic chests that attack after opening the correct one.
The Knight's Trail and The Strange Scent
Follow quest markers, speaking with NPCs.
After talking to Mr. Millkeeper, follow the scent to a unique Chop Chop enemy with invulnerable Leftless and Rightless. A Questless Knight Echo is recommended for this fight, allowing for parries and stuns. Mr. Millkeeper reveals the "legendary knight" was a fabrication.
Finding Carlow
Return to Egla Town during the day and find Carlow in a town plaza. He's challenged by knights; his reaction concludes the quest. Rewards include Union XP, Astrites, and resources.
