by Carter Feb 02,2025

Uncover the mystery surrounding your father's disappearance in My Father Lied, Ahmed Alameen's debut point-and-click adventure game, launching May 30th!

This narrative-driven puzzler, inspired by Mesopotamian history, casts you as Huda, a young woman investigating her father's vanishing twenty years prior. Her quest intensifies upon discovering a previously unknown brother.

Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to complete his vision.

Gameplay involves classic point-and-click mechanics: explore richly detailed environments, piece together images, crack codes, and unravel the secrets within. Alameen cites Myst, Heaven's Vault, and H.P. Lovecraft as key influences.

Employing a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes, My Father Lied delivers stunning visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.

Available May 30th on App Store, Google Play, and Steam for $10.99/€, add it to your Steam wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available. Stay updated on Lunar Games' X, Discord, TikTok, and Instagram channels, and watch for the upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
