In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden serves as a crucial area within your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline. Not only is it pivotal for progressing through the game, but it also offers a safer alternative for resource farming compared to venturing out during operations.
The game features multiple Cell Gardens, accessible across various levels, though the method to locate each one remains consistent regardless of your current level. Below, we'll guide you through finding any Cell Garden and explain how they function for resource collection.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered
Your initial quest to discover the Cell Garden begins when Mattias assigns you the task of investigating the ghost girl story he's heard about. To embark on this journey, head to Level 2: 2-A000's main cell block. From your cell, direct your gaze to the left corner where you'll spot a room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same location where you encountered Enzo.
Upon arriving at 2-E165, proceed to the right along the wall until you reach another small room equipped with a device. This device will take you to 2-G100. In 2-G100, the process repeats one final time; the room at the far end contains the device that will finally bring you to the Cell Garden.
The route to the Cell Garden remains identical across all levels, and acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the time spent navigating to it. Once you've completed the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you'll gain the ability to visit it at any time or explore other Cell Gardens. However, there's a valuable Entitlement you should consider obtaining beforehand.
Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon directly above it, making navigation straightforward.
How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Cell Garden's operation differs slightly between the main story mission and regular visits. Outside of the main quest, here's how the Cell Garden functions:
- You're given a one-minute window before being automatically ejected from the area.
- The layout of the Cell Garden changes every time you enter, adding a layer of unpredictability.
- Scattered across the room, you'll find eight resources, each marked by small green orbs on the ground.
To enhance your time within the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades can extend your stay, which is particularly beneficial when navigating more complex layouts. The initial upgrade, available at CODE level 3, doubles your time to two minutes, enabling you to gather more resources efficiently.
