Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following Version 5.3's Natlan storyline conclusion, this update offers a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure. The flagship event, centered around yokai and featuring Yae Miko prominently, will likely be Mizuki's introduction point.
Mizuki's arrival has been anticipated since late 2024, with leaks suggesting her role as Inazuma's first Standard Banner character. Version 5.4 beta confirmed this, revealing her kit and role. As a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst, she's comparable to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. While Sucrose might excel in specific situations, Mizuki's versatility makes her a valuable asset to most Taser teams.
Recent marketing revealed Mizuki's dual identity as a tapir yokai and a psychologist, the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her appearance during the flagship event. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also planned for Version 5.4.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Post-Version 5.4, Mizuki will join the Standard Banner, prompting collectors to prioritize her Signature Weapon.
Compared to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 is notably smaller, including only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, Primogem acquisition will be lower than usual. Players should consider saving their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to obtain highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
