Players Can Sign Up for Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Tomorrow

Elden Ring Nightreign's First Network Test: A PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Exclusive

Registration for Elden Ring Nightreign's initial network test opens January 10th, 2025, offering a sneak peek at this upcoming co-op Soulsborne experience. However, this beta will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, excluding PS4, Xbox One, and PC players.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is slated for a 2025 release and focuses on three-player cooperative gameplay within the Lands Between. The upcoming network test, a standard procedure for online games, will allow a limited number of players to participate. While the exact number of participants remains undisclosed, interested players can register starting January 10th via the official website.

How to Register:

  1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website on or after January 10th.
  2. Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
  3. Await confirmation via email.
  4. Participate in the test during February 2025 (exact dates to be announced).

Platform and Gameplay Limitations:

The test's exclusivity to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is notable, representing less than half of the game's planned platforms. Furthermore, FromSoftware has confirmed no cross-platform play, limiting interaction to players on the same console family. Progress made during the beta is unlikely to transfer to the full game. The possibility of future betas remains open.

The game itself will feature solo play and three-player parties only, excluding duo gameplay. Whether the network test will include further gameplay restrictions remains to be seen. The test is scheduled for February 2025, with specific dates to be revealed shortly. Confirmation emails will be sent no later than the start of the test.
