The description might trick you into thinking you're after dragons or wyverns, but your real target is the elusive Curioshell Crab. To catch this critter, you'll need to use your Capture Net.
Finding the Curioshell Crab can be a bit of a challenge as they're scattered across various maps. Our top tip? Head to the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and make your way to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, nestled between Areas 2 and 6.
Once you reach Flowering Rocks, keep an eye on the nearby puddle of water. This spot is a hotspot for Curioshell Crabs. If you're having trouble spotting one, Alma can lend a hand. She'll mention if a creature nearby is holding something, signaling the presence of a Curioshell Crab.
Equip your Capture Net, line up your shot so the reticle turns orange, and fire to capture the crab. Do this successfully, and you'll not only bag a Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
Remember, these crabs are swift, so anticipate their movement and aim ahead. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might also spot them in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. While they could appear elsewhere, these locations are our confirmed hotspots.
